About Clinton County Court Docket

Clinton County court information is kept in separate court offices, each with its own record and search path. This private reference organizes those paths so a reader can identify the right office, public portal, or clerk contact for a court docket, case event, setting, or copy request.

Why We Built This Site

Michigan court records are not held in one undifferentiated county database. The Clinton County Clerk / Clerk of the Circuit Court maintains the Clinton division records of the 29th Judicial Circuit Court. The separate 65A District Court office keeps district Registers of Actions for its misdemeanor, civil, small-claims, traffic, and related matters. Probate Court maintains its own probate records. MiCOURT Case Search is the state public-search front door, while MiFILE is the electronic filing system for participating courts and authorized filers, not an ordinary public docket viewer.

The local paths also matter on review. Felony trial records can move from 65A after the preliminary stage to the 29th Judicial Circuit Court. Circuit and Probate appeals route to the Michigan Court of Appeals, with Clinton County in the Fourth District for administrative districting. A current setting, a restricted record, a complete file, and a certified copy must be confirmed with the court or clerk that holds it.

What You Will Find Here

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site, not a Michigan court, clerk office, or government agency. It cannot access a court's internal case system, change a setting, alter a record, or provide legal advice. The public search result is informational and may not contain each filed paper or current detail.

  • We cannot retrieve an official Register of Actions or a complete case file.
  • We cannot set, move, or confirm a hearing on behalf of a court.
  • We cannot seal, amend, or remove an entry from a court record.
  • We cannot issue a certified copy, order, judgment, or court document.
  • We cannot advise how a case, deadline, or ruling applies to a particular person.
  • We cannot guarantee that an outside portal or office procedure has not changed.

Only the Clinton County Clerk, the 65A District Court office, Probate Court, or the court that holds the case can provide an official or certified court record.
